The attached letter was received from Carla Pacheco announcing her intention to withdraw from the election for Council for the Village of Point Edward. Carla has asked that we circulate the notice through our Social Media outlets.
While Carla Pacheco has announced her intention to withdraw, her name will still appear on the ballot, as it is too late to remove it at this time.
We would like to thank Carla for her interest in the Village of Point Edward and wish her well in her future endeavours.

The 2026 Municipal Election will take place on Monday, October 26th.

Electors can contact the municipal office at 519-337-3021 to speak with Jim Burns, Clerk for the Village of Point Edward, or Jennifer Capes, Deputy Clerk for the Village of Point Edward, to have their information added to the voters' list.
