By-Law to Prevent Dogs Running at Large

All residents are required to control their dogs and to ensure that they do not leave their property unless they are on a leash. Owners of dogs found running at large can be charged in accordance with By-law No. 8 of 95, as amended.

Animal Control Services

Animal Control services are provided through the Sarnia and District Humane Society.  Agents from the Humane Society will respond to calls regarding dogs running at large.  Through the licensing system for all dogs in the Village, the Sarnia and District Humane Society agents may also be able to reunite pet owners with their pets.
