The 2018 Municipal Election will take place on Monday, October 22nd.
Voting will begin Thursday, October 11 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018.

“NEW” 2018 Municipal By-Election – French Public School Board – Conseil Scolaire Viamonde
Pursuant to Sections 39 (b) and 65 of the Municipal Act, 1996 a By-Election shall be conducted on November 29, 2018. Please visit the link below to obtain details from Sarnia’s website.
On November 22, 2016 Council passed a resolution which will allow for internet/telephone voting for the 2018 Municipal Election. The Village participated in a joint RFP for internet/telephone voting service providers with other Lambton County municipalities: Lambton Shores, Dawn Euphemia, Oil Springs, Petrolia, Plympton-Wyoming, Warwick and Sarnia.
Eligible electors can vote using a computer, telephone, cell phone, iPad, laptop, or tablet, that will deliver an accessible, environmentally-friendly, and convenient method of voting. Internet voting provides voters with flexibility and convenience, reduces wait times at voting locations, delivers quick and accurate results, and allows students and vacationers to vote from anywhere.
A voting place will be made available to provide ease of voting and a familiar experience.

The nomination period will commence Tuesday, May 1, 2018, and closes on Nomination Day at 2:00 pm which is Friday, July 27, 2018.
