FIVE-PIN BOWLING BRONZE,     Jun 1, 2009

The team from Point Edward Marcin Bowl, consisting of, from left: Hayley-Paige Potvin, Shelby Lacey, Katrina Scripnick, Mackenzie Mara and Anne Marie Lasek, represented southern Ontario at the junior girls Five-Pin bowling National Championships in Markham recently and placed 3rd.

Mayor Dick Kirkland was proud to present Point Edward's own Kevin Conroy with a plaque recognizing Kevin's Gold Medal Victory in the 2008 Canadian Lacrosse Chamionship held in Whitby Ontario.

Kevin was one of 18 players named to Team Ontario from out of more than 100 players that attended a series of selection camps in Whiby.
